Interactions
Nick is working to make intersections more understandable from the point of view of blind people.
They brought foam boards for us to examine and name intersections to develop a common language around intersections.\
We spoke about the meaning of blindness. They use the words “low vision” and “no useable sight.”
We also spoke about driving cars with vision assistance.
We identified the most difficult intersections to cross.
1.
Roundabout
2. Five way
3. X - because the legs don’t line
up
4. Off set
5. T is the easiest
Kim will forward the results to Nick as he works to develop a common language around intersections.
We thought it would be good to have Kim return to finish the conversation and explore services for the group.
